Not all people are created equal. And whether you are new or a novice to internet marketing (affiliate) and decide you want to make money from home with your computer, you will need three things to equalize and compete. Unless of course, you are going to pay someone else to do your net marketing job for you. You will need: Focus Self Discipline Skills It's not a wise idea to begin your internet marketing without those three above or you may end up blaming everyone else but yourself. There's a 99.99% chance you won’t make $30,000 in your first month online. Heck, if you make a dollar in profit in your first month online you should be really proud of yourself! In your first 12 months online, you’re doing well if you have one month where you make more than $500. Yep, that seems low, doesn’t it? But that puts you above 95% of the rest of the world. And if you’re making a few hundred dollars a month consistently, even better. You’re well on your way to making a living online. Networking opportunities come in a variety of offers. It's not just about posting ads anymore. When you connect with people and establish mutually beneficial networking relationships everyone wins. Provide value and you will receive value. Provide spam and you will be spammed. It's up to you. Don't let a few internet rookies spoil it all for everyone. And don't be a rookie yourself. Take your rightful place as a leader and bring your "A" game. Business opportunities come and go, so who cares about what you have to offer. What we're looking for is who you are and what you're about. Don't hide behind a link. Be yourself and express yourself. You'll get more respect and trust than just posting the same old's over and over. Don't be a victim of a poor internet marketing education. Your time is to precious to waste. You will have no boss telling you what to do therefore it is up to you. Many people cannot deal with this freedom, and therefore they fail to get their Internet marketing business off the ground. The third thing you must do is develop Internet marketing skills. Depending on the type of business that you develop you may need to learn how to blog, do basic HTML, load an auto responder with messages, write sales copy or classified ads, and so on. There is no right or wrong way to build an Internet business. But everyone that is successful, either develops the skills it takes to get to that point, or they outsource much of their business. This is three reasons people fail in Internet marketing. They do not stay focused, they do not have self-discipline, and they do not develop the necessary skills. If you are involved with an affiliate program or you sell your own products than you will find that social networks like facebook, twitter and womV can be a great start to build a network of new customers or affiliates.
